Guest guest
I don't know if this is KY but its useful. It comes form Lama Surya Das book Awakening to the sacred. Page 198 ect he is talking about mindful living- being with the present- aware of everything around you- this naturaly gets one in tune with the environment I would think. Here it is: Inhale.....Exhale....One. Inhale.....Exhale....Two. Inhale.....Exhale....Three. Then breathe out and say Ahhhh aloud. Stand facing the morning and the day that awaits you. Assume the Giants Stance: Stand up straight, legs a little apart. Raise your arms to shoulder level and spread them wide, like wings, with the palms forward. Breathe out. Ahhhhh!!!!! Stretch. Take a deep breath again. Ahhhh!!!!! Feel the stretch; feel your breath expand in your lungs and chest. Now take a lions leap forward into the day. Yes, this may seem absurd. However, he askes that you just try it one day and see if it does not make a difference. Guest guest
Hello! I think just having the intention to do so and being open and listening to our surroundings, plants, and animals can really help get one in touch. Spending time out in the forest or desert would be good. For me also learning reiki helped quite a bit. I have felt communion with animals and plants and situations, etc by using second level reiki which includes sacred symbols with names for crossing time and space, connecting subconsious minds, and adding energy. I am now third level but I have to admit that I haven't actively used it yet, except for giving one heart attunement. But, I know that eventually I will be back into my papers and in discussion with my husband and get into using it. Reiki, which is healing balancing energy, is a wonderful thing and very useful. I always use it in emergencies and it really helps. Great for reviving someone who has passed out. I could go on. This applies to my yoga practice as well as it is working with energy and kundalini yoga can help you to be more sensative to it. Love Always, littlebird Leslie Hi, Sat nam.
