Guest guest
Hi, I don't know what's been up with me lately, but I have been filled with fear of getting ill..or of dying. It usually comes upon me while I am going to sleep and it is the most disturbing feeling. I have been re-evaluating my life over the past month and have been wanting to make changes in my life...feeling that I have not been living my life the way I should be. This may be a factor in these feelings, I do not know. But it is really bothering me to the point where I don't even want to do to sleep! Sometimes, I awake with a bolt and my heart is pounding and I grab on to my boyfriend in complete terror of...what, I don't know..but I really need to make this stop! Are there any sets, mantras..ANYTHING.. to help to deal with fear?? I thank you in advance, sat nam Kelly kelly mitchell Media Principia-Ex-centris Montreal,Quebec www.ex-centris.com <http://www.ex-centris.com>

Guest guest
Dear Sadhant Singh or anyone else with the book Survival Kit. There is a meditation at the very end to deal with the fear of death. I did it and it works. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Gururattan: > There is a meditation at the very end to deal with the fear of >death. I did it and it works. Serendipity rules again! I just got "Survival Kit". However, I'm not sure I have found the right one, since there isn't one that speaks to fear of death per se. There is one "For Mental Control" that says it can give control over one's own death - is that the one you mean? I'll post it if so. Guest guest
Thank you for the information. I recently lost my 15 year old son to a tragic accident and am having difficulty dealing with my loss. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Many, but not all, of these meditations are in Relax and Renew, especially the section of Strees Reduction in 2-11 minutes. Guest guest
Dear Julie & friends: I've had no luck so far finding the meditation that GKK refers to, but here is "Meditation for Mental Control" (also called Brahm Kalaa). Kalaa is another name for Kundalini. "In this kriya, it is like one is stretching into the universe.": Sit in easy pose, cross the arms in front of the chest, elbows at 90 degrees, arms parallel to the ground, palms down. Right palm on left upper arm, top of left hand against right upper arms, fingers together and straight. Close the eyes, balance out the posture, and stretch the arms out from the shoulders as much as possible. The breath will become very slow. Start with 3 minutes and gradually increase to 11.
