Guest guest
hello-- this morning, during my looong commute on the train, I got to thinking: I wonder how everyone on the kundaliniyoga list found out and began their practice of ky. I began simply because i found a video by Carol Carlson at a health food store and bought it and loved it. Then, I saw a picture of people meditating at last year's summer solstice, and unbidden, the thought came into my head: someday I'll go there! Talk about intutition! Anyway, I'd love to her and learn from your stories. Sat Nam, Jessie

Guest guest
Re: how did you find ky? Well I first tried Hatha Yoga about 15 years ago when I realised I needed to relax, so I learned it from an old book which my sister had lying around. I was impressed with the results and have since been doing it on and off (mostly off..) and from various different books. I had heard of KY but didn't know much about it. Well now we are in the computer age, last year I decided one day to do an internet search for yoga sites. I don't recall exactly what I typed in but the site www.kundaliniyoga.org was top of the list. I found that site really amazing and inspirational, and have been hooked ever since. Guest guest
Sat Nam I was looking for a place to start practicing yoga and I started my research looking up at the yellow pages I didn't know anything about yoga but I knew the results I wanted. So, I went to that place that I found on the yellow pages and it was the wonderful ashram of Altamonte Springs! It was one of the most important days of my life, I cried when I got there because I knew that I was guided by God to that spot. When I decided to move to South Florida leave the ashram neighborhood was the worst piece but something inside me told that I would find someone/something nice here too. And I found Deva Kaur, a wonderful KY teacher and I found you all!!!!
