Guest guest
Jesse, re: I wonder how everyone on the kundaliniyoga list found out and began their practice of ky. I first discovered Kundalini Yoga after I'd been taking Hatha Yoga classes for a while. I was thumbing through some of my friend & yoga teacher's old Yoga Journal magazines and was somehow enchanted by the word "Kundalini" even though I didn't know what it meant. It was so musical I just liked saying it. So I followed my intuitive whim and sent for one of Ravi Singh's books. It's been part of my life ever since. Guest guest
I had practised hatha for years on and off, and during an off period decided I needed to attend a classs to get back properly into the swing of it. The one that best suited my needs - time, location etc. was a kundalini class - I didn't have the slightest idea what it was about but decided to give it a go. I found the effects so wonderful that I was immediately hooked and have been happily practising since then. I attended one hatha class later on and even though the teacher was very good it just didn't do much for me so I never went back. As far as I'm concerned this is a practice for life and I am exceedingly grateful to have found it. Love and blessings to all, Avtar K. ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
re: finding KY For years, it seems I was always trying out a yoga class. I would find Hatha and do that for awhile, then come across a KY class and do that. I found books and would explore at home and to make a long story short, I kept coming back to a KY class or book so I finally decided that KY was the one for me. In 1998 I started a series of energy healing classes and intuition kept urgeing me to KY yoga. KY's all about energy, our bodies and the universal or God connection so now I feel I'm home. I love my KY classes, I have a great instructor and friend and KY can do amazing things for us all. Love & Blessings to All Crystal

A friend told me about a book written by Mantak Chia titled "Healing Love Through the Tao, Cultivating Female Sexual Energy". Mantak called this energy "kundalini". I, like Peggy Sue, was enchanted by that word. I went on the internet to get a deeper understanding of kundalini, and came across kundalini yoga with Ravi Singh. I purchased my first video, "The Kundalini Experience", loved the experience and have been practicing from that day forward. Sat Nam Sheila B.
