I began simply because i found a video by Carol Carlson at a health food store and bought it and loved it. Then, I saw a picture of people meditating at last year's summer solstice, and unbidden, the thought came into my head: someday I'll go there! Talk about intutition! Anyway, I'd love to her and learn from your stories. This was my introduction to ky and is a great and thourough practice. Also, Kundalini Yoga with Gurmukh is excellent and a little more aerobic with less emphasis on meditation. While I was doing the ong na moo guru na dev na mo chant, I sat quickly with myself, looking at my brow, when I saw a yellow eye starring back at me. As I looked at the eye, it tuned into a black panther, which I associate with as my fire element. As I looked at the black cat, it turned into a black bull. I thought this was weird, what does a black bull have to do with anything? Not getting an answer, I just blew it off. The next morning while looking through the KY sight I came across the info on getting in touch with Taurus this month. I thought that was cool, because that explained the bull. I thought that was pretty cool that I had tuned into Taurus before I even knew about. Other resources in addition to what Gururattan Kaur kindly offered are three books by Yogi Bhajan, the living master of Kundalini Yoga, titled "Specific Healing Applications of Kundalini Yoga", "Healing Through Kundalini Meditation and Masage", and "Handbook for Psychologists" and also "Brain Longevity" by Dharma Singh Khalsa MD which deals specifically with issues related to the functioning of the brain and mind. You can find these online on this site: www.a-healing.com As to the second question, tantric Buddhism is heterosexual by definition. This is important because it deals with the union of yin and yang, which cannot be achieved otherwise. I haven't heard of homosexuality cases. White Tantric Yoga, which is a part of Kundalini Yoga, is not sexual in nature, but a group meditation experience under the guidance of a living master. If you have any urgent questions about special conditions that you would like suggestions about before (or after!) you can get these books please post them and we will try our best to answer. I hope this helps! Peace and blessings, Satsang Kaur ______________________ ______________________ Your use of is subject to
