breaking a habbit

Hello to All,

I am currently trying to break a habbit and have been

practicing a kriya for 11 days now, along with Sat

Kriya. The thing is that I'm wonder if it will all go

to waste if I miss a day, or if I can make up for

that.

Just recently durring the full moon I felt soooo out

of energy, like it had all been sucked out of me; I

only managed to do the Sat Kriya, but skipped the set.

Although I didn't REALLY feel guilty for this I did

have the feeling I was doing something terribly wrong,

like I just blew all the work I had done before.

I haven't given up and don't intend to, but this has

been a thought in my mind.

I have also wondered whether it is necesary or more

important to stick to just one set, or if it's just as

good to varry them from day to day.

No effort ever goes to waste. If your intent is to complete a 40-day

set, that does mean 40 days in a row.

Doing a kriya once gives you the experience, doing it for 40 days

gives you the full benefits of the kriya, doing it for 1,000 days

gives mastery of the kriya.

I find that sometimes it seems right to work on different things, and

sometimes it is better to do a 40-day set (or more) to work through

some issue that I'm not resolving otherwise.

Love, light, blessings to all,

Sadhant

Sat Nam,

Yogi Bhajan used to tell us. You don't start over, you just keep going.

This changes our attitude from negative to positive. For a 40 day set you

do count from day one again, but you have the previous days as collateral.

Sat Nam,

Does this mean if we have been doing a kriya for 20 days and we miss 1, do

we then start the next day and count it as 21?
