Guest guest
I noticed this message in my Daily Digest. I have had migraines for the last 2 years, and in the last few months I've discovered Accupuncture to be a great help. At this point, I don't really have migraines much...and when I do, I know how to handle them. I got both acupuncture treatment (the needles) and patent herbs. The nice thing with the patent herbs is that when I take them regularly, the migraines just stop coming. I've shared this with my Mom and she has found the patent to relieve her migraines also. So I think I've now gotten some long term relief from the headaches thru acupuncture and yoga. But it really helped to have the patent herbs along the way. If anyone wants the name of the patent or formula, let me know. Jen You wrote: > > Dear Ellen, > > I also used to have migraine headaches. I used acupuncture and have not >had > > one in 13 years!! Guest guest
Shirley, Feverfew is excellent for migraines. It has to be taken daily, not just when you feel the pain coming on. good luck!! Guest guest
Dear Jen and Shirley Just a note about Chinese herbs - it is really important that each formula is prescribed by a qualified practitioner. Even if you have what seems to be the same problem as someone else, Chinese medicine bases diagnosis on the individual not the symptom (this is the beauty of it as a system of healing!). Please take good care and rather seek out professional advice rather than trying to prescribe for yourself. Chinese medicine is generally safe but if you take a formula that is not suited to your individual condition, you could end up creating more problems. Guest guest
Jai, Thank you for the warning. I think you make a good point. The patent worked for myself and my Mom, but I know we have similair physiology and problems. Since a few people have asked, I will list the patent pills we used. But please consider Jai's words before taking them (see below). The patent pills I used are called Xiang Sha Liu Jun Wan. The ingredients are Bai zhu, Fu ling, Dang shen, Ban xia, Chen pi, Sha ren, Mu xiang, Gan cao, De zao, Sheng jiang. The brand (company) name is Min Shan Brand. Take care all, Jen
