Guest guest
Sat Nam everyone: I have a son (20 y.o.) and sometimes does not know how to deal with obsession, he realizes when he's being obsessive about little things, but even so he keeps tied to them. When he gets obsessive, he feels dull and heavy in the back of his head, He has started working with the navel point, and I'm wondering if there's some specific kriya or meditation for helping to deal with an obsessive behavior, and to feel released from the heaviness in the back of his head. Any suggestions are quite welcome, Blessings, Carlos Auctions - buy the things you want at great prices http://auctions./

Perhaps GKK can comment on the feeling of heaviness that you describe, but one thing to be aware of is that she specifies the heart center as being related to obsession (and compulsions), while the navel center is related to compulsions. So I would think that doing heart center work (perhaps in conjunction with navel point work) might be more useful to help release these issues. Her book "Transitions to a Heart-Centered World" has a number of heart center kriyas, and "Your life is in your chakras" describes several exercises and meditations that are specific for this chakra, including: 1. spinal twists 2. holding the arms at 60 degrees (hands flat), pulling the arms down to activate the meridian to the heart, breath of fire for 1-3 minutes 3. the "Hari Hari Hari Har" meditation from Opportunity and Green Energy 4. Jod Kriya: palms lightly together in front of face so arms are parallel to the ground with tips of middle fingers at the level of the brow and the focus at the brow point. No mantra or breath is specified. Practice for 11, 31, or 62 minutes, and end by stretching up for 2 minutes. Hope this is helpful! Guest guest
Dear Carlos. Have your son use the mantra SA TA NA MA. This mantra can break old habits, and create new ones. For SA touch thumb to index finger, TA touch thumb to middle finger, NA thumb to ring finger MA thumb to pinkie finger. Hope this helps, Siri Ram K.
