Guest guest
Shahzad: I am a muslim and very new to the idea of kundalini. I was wondering if Kundalini has been documented in Islam. Reading about kundalini, i had a feeling that all the prophets must have had Kundalini awakening. As a child and young man Mohammed showed few signs of his prophetic destiny. He was well known for his moral integrity and good character but it was not until his forties that he became aware of his true purpose. Through a series of transformative experiences Mohammed was prepared for his divine role. Quran says that Mohammed passed through seven heavens. These sevens heaven could very well correspond to the seven chakras that exist within the human body. It would be a great favour if someone could let me know about the Islam version of kundalini(how to practive kundalini yoga in the way of islam, i.e. without mantras). Take the long Ek Ong Kar's this could descripe a Muslim God, as well as a Christen, Jewish, or any monotheistic God. Ek (one) Ong (creator) Kar (Creation) Sat (truth) Nam (name) Siri (great) Wahe (beyond description-"wow!") Guru (dispeller of darkness. Divine Teacher within)
Guest guest
In an article titled "Islam and Yoga" <http://sites.netscape.net/penkatali2/yoga> reference is given to Mohammed's passage through the heavens, and the relation to Kundalini. In a related article on the same web site titled "Islam and Sakti", Kundalini is also presented and related to Islamic terminology. All best wishes, Stan sbernst Another article on the same web site On Sat, 19 May 2001, shahzad alam wrote: > > Shahzad: > > I am a muslim and very new to the idea of kundalini. This site has changed my perception of my own religion, Islam. Thank you Stan. This site has increased my faith in Islam and has made my way towards Kundalini easier(Easier to practice with faith). Guest guest
Antoine Ca va? Can we exchange links - I'd like to add your site to the Kundalini Yoga directory. We are getting very high traffic levels, and a couple of sites now use us as their link directory.
