Guest guest
Does anyone have any opinions on a chiropractor? I don't know much about them, if it actually helps you, or if its temporary relief or what? Dear Cam, I would definitely recommend going to a chiropractor and probably refraining from exercize until you see him/her. We have had a lot of help from chiropractors over the years. They really can help you to heal when there is something mechanically out of place. My daughter is just finishing up with a chiropractor who was extremely helpful. She had a pinched nerve and had to refrain from working out for several weeks. She is passionate about exercise but followed his advice anyway and with the extra free time actually made a big change in her life. It is worth asking around for a chiropractor who has helped people and has a good reputation, Good luck! Sheri
Guest guest
Besides going to a chiropractor, seeing a Naturopathic Physician or someone who does body work is also extremely helpful. Because a lot of times, it is muscle tightness that causes the spine to go out of alignment in the first place. If your muscles are supple, the bones tend to stay where they are supposed to be. Bodywork with some heat also help to soothe and bring more blood flow into an injured area.
