I recomend to try it and to feel the difference that it has for you and practice what is best for you. (It is recomended to relax in corps pose) Sat Nam - Hari Har Singh __________________________ The Meditation Tip of the Day - June 05, 2001 ----------- Once a person has stopped discrimination, banished delusion, and ended the trick of thought, he will be full of inner peace and there is naturally the state of nothingness. Corpse pose relaxes your whole body, while in rock pose many people find it easier to get into a meditative state. However rock pose isn't too kind on your knees and legs (because you are sitting on them!), so they wouldn't get any relaxation. Corpse pose is recommended, as Hari Har Singh mentioned. On the other hand, people with lower back problems should better avoid corpse pose because it puts some strain on the lower back. People with back problems can do a variant of the corpse pose, having their legs bent and resting on a chair (so that the lower back would be gently pushed towards the floor instead of arching up). Many blessings, Satsang Kaur
