Fasting on the full moon

No, I do the fasting and the full moon meditation on the day of the

full moon. Of course the moon is actually full at some particular

time during the day, but for the sake of consistency, I do the

meditation at bed-time on the day of the full moon. Since I won't

have eaten since dinner of the day before, it is at least 24 hours

from my last meal to the time of the meditation (in practice, this

works out to approximately a 36-hour fast, from dinner the day before

to breakfast after sadhana the day after).

Just so you know, they say the full moon's effect starts a few days before

and continues a few days after.
