Guest guest
Is there anything we can do at home to celebrate the summer solstice? Does this celebration have an impact on Kundalini Yoga? Sat Nam, Sangeet Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Friends, This summer solstice in NM was the most beautiful I have attended in over 20 years. The weather was good, the spirit was one of love and celebration and the tantric excercises were doable! Last year we had 3 hours of Sat Kriya the first day, which was actually doable but intense. It is the arms hanging in the air for 62 minutes that I call undoable. We had none of those for which I am most grateful. The energy was however very intense to say the least. Let's say we generally run on a 100 watt light bulb. The wattage during tantric and the 3 classes by Yogi Bhajan was at least 1000 watts, maybe even 10,000. When the mudras or hand positions are easy, it can still be hard to meditate because of the intense clearning of the subconscious mind that is going on. Over 950 people were in the tantric lines. One of my students from San Diego took digital pictures which we will put on line. We even got a picture of 5 of us who were there. There were at least 3 others but Nirmal Singh had already left and we didn't connect with Bob Knight and another man I think had already left. Anyway you will all see the beautiful mountains and situation. Start saving now and set your intention to be there with us next year. It costs $445 plus transportation. Bring your own tent and sleeping bag. For spiritual advancement this is the best bargain on the planet. For those of you who attended please note that your reality has been altered and you must take care of yourself in the next few days and weeks. I slept 13 hours the first night I got back, 10 hours the second and 9 hours the third. My body is very sensitive and I will not drive until tomorrow. I am just doing what I have to do and not forcing anything. I walk very slowly. I don't feel sore. Just cooked to the level of purification. I have done over 100 weekend and solstice tantrics and they still have a very profound impact on me. I will be writing more later. Many blessings and Sat nam, Gururattan Kaur I actually
