Guest guest
Dear Sangeet Kaur: Dharma Singh's new book "Meditation as Medicine" has a specific meditation called "Medical Meditation to Strengthen the Pancreas", and comments that the meditation helps to control blood sugar. It has 2 postures: 1. Sit in rock pose and cross your hands over the navel. Bring forehead to the ground and raise buttocks to 60 degrees. Close your eyes and focus on sending energy to your pancreas. Breath long slow deep breaths for 3 minutes, and to end, inhale deeply and hold for 10 seconds. 2. Still in rock pose, bring the crossed hands over the solar plexus and lean back 60 degrees. Eyes closed, focus on sending energy to your pancreas. Breath long slow deep breaths for 3 minutes, and to end, inhale deeply and hold for 10 seconds. Note that the 3rd chakra (navel point) is closely related to the pancreas, and all the mid-abdominal glands and organs. Love & blessings, Sadhant
