Guest guest
Well, no one showed up to practice yoga tonight---it made me kind of sad. As I was leaving, one lady showed up, and that was to tell me that she was pregnant and would not be coming back until after delivery time. On my way home I had mixed emotions of rejection and hurt feelings---then I started thinking, how many people would have driven to my class just to tell me that they would not be coming for a while? This lady had only came to two previous classes, but thought enough of the group to come and tell me why she wouldn't be able to attend. I told her that I would be there when she was able to return, and that I would help her with anything she needed in her pregnancy (I'm a nurse)---She looked touched. If Yoga is about union, then we did have a class tonight. Mal (big smile;-) Wagner
Guest guest
Hi Mal, Don't be too discouraged - I think most of us have had the same experience at some time. Yogi Bhajan didn't have anyone turn up for his first class - he taught the class anyway to the empty room and projected out for students. Keep plugging away !
