Guest guest
The following are some brief notes from a friend who knows this issue well. Protein before you get out of bed because once you get into that cycle it's over. Snack every 2 hours and have a protein. e.g., cheese and crackers, nuts, etc. Ginger tea, ginger candy. Just get ginger in there somehow Ginger caps 8 - 8x a day Acupuncture wristband for wrist points. Get it at CVS. They sell it for motion sickness. B Complex Acupuncture. This info came from my friend Jai Kaur Sat Nam, Dharam Ellen Madono wrote: > A yogini friend is having morning sickness whenever she gets hungry. > She > can't eat much but she needs to eat every two hours to avoid building > up gas > in her stomach. Guest guest
When I had morning sickness, I practically lived on water and saltines. My stomach wouldn't tolerate much else. And it wasn't just 'morning' sickness for me. It lasted all day long. I would have some bread, fruits, veggies, and cheese for meals (only bland tasting ones) and between meals would eat saltines. I tried to make sure my stomach always had something in it (and it didn't have to be alot), otherwise I would get sick as just like your friend. That's what worked for me. I didn't do yoga at the time, so I can't advise on a kriya that may help. Christa
Guest guest
According to my friend, the key was having something rich in protein while still in bed before the whole cycle began again. That is what worked for her. If you or your friend would like to talk to my "experienced" friend I can get you her number offline. Guest guest
Just to add to what Dharam has said, the two homeopathic remedies Nux Vomica and Sepia (either/or, or both alternately if it is really severe, at a fairly low potency of 6C or 9C taken several times a day) work for most women to at least lower the discomfort to a manageable level. Red Rasberry Leaf tea is the traditional yogic/herbal approach which works for many people too. Seva Simran Singh
