Kundalini Yoga is a really wonderful way to get over depression. I can tell because this has been my experience as well. I love the fact that not only it helps the person who is practicing, but also the positive energy created through your practice can be felt by other people as well, and can also totally change the atmosphere of the place you are practicing in. If you are practicing at home it won't be long before you and other people will start noticing what a happy air even the walls have. This really happens. In India there have been yoga teachers who would give a mantra to a student not by telling it to them, but by letting the student meditate for a few minutes in the teacher's meditation room - and the student would effectively hear the mantra repeating itself from the walls. We have all met at some time or other the power of grace - the unexplained miracles, the right thing at the right time, the perfect intuition. Yoga puts you in touch very directly with this power of grace, which in truth does belong to you. As Yogi Bhajan says, "Keep up and you will be kept up." Many blessings, Satsang Kaur
