I really feel like I need to release tension so as to perform > optimally! Ravi Singh has a wonderful video, "AM PM Yoga" with sets to help you start and end your day. I decided to get up an hour early each day to do the "AM" sets (bridge pose, camel, stretch pose, frog pose, mediation and breath of fire - 20 minutes total) which are design to boost your energy for the day. The PM sets are more relaxing to help release the stress you may have encountered during the day (very little movement, long deep breathing and meditation). The PM sets are nice to do a half hour to an hour before bed. > Is there anything that I can add to my diet that could assist as well? You didn't mention what your diet consist of, but it's helpful to eat lots of foods that are "living" (fruits & vegetables). And don't forget your vitamins. Many blessings Sheila B. Guest guest
Dear Philip, Which "Stress Busters" are there that I can get to fit into my schedule? I really feel like I need to release tension so as to perform optimally! There is a section in Relax and Renew called Stress Relief in 2-11 minutes. I suggest you get the book and do the various exercises and see which one's give you the relief you need. There are plenty to choose from. the site is www.yogatech.com.
