Guest guest
Dear friends: Rowan Flowers' post about accidentally finding the IKYTA list inspired me to supply my current list of KY and other yoga resources that I work from. I keep all these in a Yoga sub-folder from my Favorites list - you might want to add some of these if you don't already have them. Here is our website, where you can find basic information about KY, on-line classes, books, music, and other links. Please explore this site for answers to your questions before you post - there is a wealth of information here: <kundalini yogacontents.html> Gururattan and friends also support this site (I know you've seen both of these recently, but I'm just trying to be complete so I can point people back to this posting). Come here for the kriya of the week, the NMB e-zine, and other great stuff: <> Here is the parent organization for KY, 3HO. Learn about 3HO events like Summer Solstice or Master's Touch, etc. <http://www.3ho.org/> You can get to the teacher directory link from there, but here is a direct link to IKYTA: <http://www.kundaliniyoga.com/> Here are several other places to buy books, music, videos, and the like. Many of these have sound files so you can listen before you buy (as do we): <http://www.a-healing.com/> <http://www.cherdikala.com/> <http://www.ziplink.net/~ravi/> <http://www.yogaofsound.com/> Here is the Golden Temple site. Notice that this site has a number of KY kriyas on-line - use Search/Yoga & Meditation. Also notice that although GT has the most extensive library of music, books, and videos (by far), they don't have their catalog on-line. Call 800-829- 3970 to get their catalog. <http://www.goldentemple.com/> Here is a site supported by the Sikh Dharma, which has a number of prosperity meditations: <http://www.dasvandh.org/> Here is Gurmukh's site - she is a very popular teacher, and author of the 8 Human Talents, a wonderful book: <http://www.goldenbridgeyoga.com/> Here is a Sikh site which has lots of music, great for listening to a mantra when you don't know the pronunciation. There is more here than just the music: <http://www.sikhnet.com/Music> The rest of these sites are not specific to KY. Here are two sites that have products like meditation pillows and neti pots: <http://www.huggermugger.com/index.jsp> <http://www.healthandyoga.com/> Here is Pieter Samara's site (you may recognize his name because he posts very informative stuff from time to time). This site must be explored in depth - you will find many fascinating links: <http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/umbada/pieter.htm> Other interesting yoga and general spiritual sites: <http://www.yrec.org/> <http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Academy/5058/yosaev.htm> <http://www.yogasite.com/> <http://www.yogadirectory.com/> <http://dir./Arts/Humanities/Philosophy/Eastern/Yoga/> <http://www.yogajournal.com/> <http://www.yimag.com/> <http://www.evonline.net/> <http://www.selfgrowth.com/yoga.html> <http://www.self-realization.com/yoga_directory.htm> <http://www.ionet.net/~tslade/yoga.htm> <http://www.spiritweb.org/> <http://www.howtoknowgod.com/> This is (from SpiritWeb) a very inspirational article that I like to re-read from time to time: <http://www.spiritweb.org/Spirit/hamstra.html> If you know of any other great yoga sites and sites of general spiritual value that I missed or don't know about, please post them or e-mail me directly. I will update this posting and send it out from time to time as it grows if people would like that. Love to all, Sadhant
