Are there two passages from the Crown to the Ajna Chakra? Krishna ============================== Dear Krishna, Thanks for asking. To clarify: The Silver cord is the spinal cord. When you practice KY you can feel the energy coming through the spine then splitting forwards to the Ajna and up the passage to the Crown. >From the Ajna there is also a further assent to the Crown. One of the practices of yoga starts at the Ajna and focuses upwards along the Gold cord towards the Crown. This yoga is called Shabad Yoga or Naad Yoga, and is part of the whole KY practice. Yogis say that the centers along the Gold cord are as light to a shadow in comparison with the centers along the Silver cord. As the Kundalini fluid comes up into the brain, it enters the forth, then the third ventricle of the brain, where the pineal gland protrudes. With the entry of this fluid, the pineal gland begins to enlarge and secrete. The pituitary (Ajna) is also effected and acts as a radar for the energy to travel along the Gold cord to the Crown (Sahasrara). Through the practice of KY, the glands, organs and their related nerve plexuses become charged and revitalized. Toxins are discharged and each center begins to come into a balance, then balancing in turn with all the other centers of the body field. With the building of a chemical electric charge throughout the nervous system and within the centers (batteries) one will feel coolness, then heat, then an etheric pervasiveness as the sexual fluids increase their flow of vital fluids into the bloodstream allowing the nerves to carry a greater charge. Gradually, the body field comes into a powerful electromagnetic balance. As the voltage increased, it begins to become possible to tap into the much higher voltage of the Kandal, located between the navel and 4th vertebra, which can be felt at the juncture of the pulling up on the anus, sex organs and in on the navel, also called Mul Bhand or Root Lock. When the electromagnetic charge of the body field becomes strong enough there is an automatic pulling and locking at the Kandal and the energy is released downwards, causing a drop of sexual fluid to pierce into the spinal cord and move upwards towards the much higher inner voltage of the brain, as described above. While yogis have gone about describing this mechanism in some detail, with practice, this will happen regardless of technical knowledge within a relatively short period of time. There are four energy systems: 1. The pranic system, which operates through the blood stream bringing life and vitality and electromagnetic energy to the body field 2. The Kundalini Mata Shakti system, which operated within the nervous system opening all the centers of the Silver cord directly. Many people mistaken pranic experiences for the Kundalini. 3. The system of the Gold cord, wherein inner sights and sounds are heard, which brings about a progressive evolution of the body resulting from the secretions of the pineal and other related glands, and some say the Divine Body, where the Yogi becomes a Maha Siddha, attains all occult powers and youth, such as Naranda, Milarepa, Dattatreya and others. 4. The system of the Hrdayam, which is located between the synod or pacemaker of the heart, 2 digits to the right of the sternum, and the Atma Nadi between the Hrdayam and the Crown, where the Hrdayam, or spiritual Heart is known as the Solar Orb and the Crown (Sahasrara) is known as the Lunar Orb. This is because the Hrdayam is the Self-Effulgent "I" Light of the Body illumines and pervades the entire body and the brain with "I am" consciousness, which is the basis for the sense of identity we have to thoughts and sensations of the body field. This is the system taught by the Saviors, such as Buddha, Christ, Rama, Krishna and the Sikh Gurus, as with the opening of the Hrdayam, one aides in Truth and becomes Truth Itself. The Hrdayam is the door through which is the substratum or ground of all pervasive Being/Consciousness. The knot of the "I" to the thoughts and sensations is located here, such that regardless of what we are referring to in relation to our identity and activities, such as "I ran.I thought.I am this and that.I experienced..." - we always point to this location. When, through the practice of KY, non-judgment, forgiveness and devotion, the body field becomes pure, and the slightest enquiry is made into the origin of this "I" sense, the knot is sundered and the door opens, the mind inverts reflecting the pulsation of Self-Knowledge purely, such that no thoughts or images or impressions can manifest. While the other systems involve some systematic and concerted practice, the system of the Hrdayam and Atma Nadi, require only the simple and direct enquiry into the source of the sense of "I" - the source of seeing, which is to say, the seer. When the Seer is isolated, the body field is at once caught into a gravitational force field - a Singularity that pulses "I, I, I, I, I....." which entirely outshines all the body field's centers and systems, dissolving even the electro-magnetic field itself, the astral body. With the dissolution of the sense of an identity between the sense of "I" focused attention through the lens of the mind to varying thoughts, sensations and impressions, all ideas of being a doer, of causality, of time and space, of conditions simply fall away, as though having pierced the veil, there abides the single Witness of the world all its dimensions as undifferentiated pervading light. With the practice of KY and the reading of non-dual scripture and texts that are at the core of every Religion (Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Sikhism, Sufism), quickly there is a sensation of inner hearing of the Truth (atma-sphurana), and you awaken and emerge as the True Man, the True Woman, where "Me and God (I AM), God and Me are One." Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, engulfs all these systems. Pieter
