Guest guest Posted July 9, 2001 Report Share Posted July 9, 2001 Well, I just got back from a long vacation--funny how I am more tired now than i was when i left! But I am feeling proud because I managed to practice four times over the course of the week, and even taught a set (kriya for elevation) to a friend and my sister (to whom I also taught sitalit pranayam to help her with her anxiety). I used one of Ravi Singh's book and included 2-3 minutes of Sat Kriya each time (I am slowly slowly building up my time in that very powerful kriya). The effects of Sat Kriya have been amazing--increased energy, increased all over feelings of happiness, and a renewed sense of attraction to myself and others--possibly some 2nd chakra blocks being worked through? I have to say that teaching that one short set made me feel great. It really made me feel good to be passing on some of the health and happiness I have received from this technology, and even though on that day my own personal practice may not have been as long or as deep as I may have usually done (had to keep one eye on the clock!), the rewards of helping someone else far outweighed that.
