I have arthrictic knees

Can you give me any advise as to how to make my practice more comfortable, I

have arthritis in my knees and one foot. I don't want to give up my daily

Sadhana, but it hurts so bad. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Carol, I bought a yoga pillow (canvas, nicely made, and filled with

buckwheat hulls? (I think)) for my wife. She has a knee problem too. She

says it has helped her a great deal. It also got me through 3 days of White

Tantric Yoga @ solstice!!! I have a phone # for the folks who make them but

won't post it unless you want me to. (I'm just not sure about the ethics of

doing a commercial ad, I guess) You can write me directly at

I got this recipe from one of my friends at Solstice. I haven't tried it

yet, but he said it worked amazingly well if you take it every day for

several weeks. Sounds like it would taste pretty yummy too. Hope this helps.

In reply to your q to Carol, I don't know the recipe that was given to you

but if it is Golden Milk, it should help. There are also many supplements

out there that are geared towards arthritis. Some wk better than others.

 

You could do some of your practice in a chair. Are you using pillows to sit

on? Are you receiving some sort of body work???
