Guest guest
Dear Satang Kaur, I have just read what you wrote to Glenn and I would also like to ask you a couple of questions that have been on my mind for some time now... I have experienced things very similar to what I have read from Glen about the pressure in the head, heat sensations, etc..what I want to ask is this--after I feel the pressure leave area behind the eyes, I feel flowing out of the top of my head and if I don't hold my head still it(my head will begin to move in slow continuous circles as if there is some type of energy field around the top of my head going in circles causing my head to turn in circles because of it. It doesn't hurt ..... I don't neccesarily always feel pleasure either(I do feel expansion and extreme calm though)..... I still don't quite understand what is happening and this concerns me..I don't believe I have attained Samadhi because although my breathing slows down to an extremely slow rate I still do not "quit" breathing....it has been going on over a year now and this has also been the VERY hardest year of my life.... even when I am not meditating now this spiraling movement above of my head is still active. Do you think that although the kundalini energy may pierce through a knot that the possiblity exists that the opening is still not completely opened? Can the Kundalini pierce these three knots and yet not bring with it a complete awakening yet? Ever since I have had experiences of Kundalini activity about a year and a half ago, I have felt the energy move to different areas and it appears to have also pierced certain knots but it isn't as if anything has become any easier---only harder. I have read and read and have tried to make sense of what I have experienced but cannot. I want to make sure something isn't going wrong that I should know about....Do you have an idea of what could possibly be happening to me? It's been going on well over a year now and I really want to understand why and --especially why-- there is this force field above my head... thank you, michelle

I don't neccesarily always feel pleasure either(I do > feel expansion and extreme calm though)..... It sounds to me like your 10th gate is opening up. This is very good, and nothing to worry about. Just go with it. > I don't believe I have attained Samadhi because > although my breathing slows down to > an extremely slow rate I still do not "quit" breathing.... Samadhi doesn't mean you stop breathing and turn into a rock! Your breath may slow down, but this isn't the point either. Samadhi is the place of infinite peace, infinite calm, infinite bliss, an expanded state of consciousness not confined to the body. There are a few degrees of Samadhi as well. > it has been going > on over a year now and this has also been > the VERY hardest year of my life.... That may well happen. Your tenth gate is opening up, but you haven't really gone through it yet. You can't go through it before your karmas are paid for, or gotten rid of. To go through the tenth gate you have to be completely pure, with no "mundane" baggage. So you may find that before great breakthroughs in yoga your life on the outside may seem to become harder. It is called tapasya in yoga - in translation "austerities". Tapasya also means burning. What price would you pay for Self-realization, for the end of all pain and sorrow? Ask yourself... > Do you think that although the kundalini energy may pierce through a > knot that the possiblity exists that the opening is still not completely > opened? Can the Kundalini > pierce these three knots and yet not bring with it a complete awakening yet? Opening the knots can take time, and depending on your sadhana (or lack of it) they can close back as well. It is important to continue your practices regularly. > It's been going on well over a year now and I really want to understand why > --especially why-- there is this force field above my head... Above your head is the sahasrara, the thousand-petalled lotus. You may be able to see it in deep meditation. The sahasrara is where your soul dwells. The sahasrara is where you can meet, and become, God. The sahasrara is what has been described as a halo in paintings of the saints of all religions. Its force field is the force field of love. Meditate on it with great love, and one day it will show its brilliance to you. Many blessings, Satsang Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Satsang Kaur, Would you please explain more about "your karmas are paid > for, or gotten rid of". Is there a way to do so? --- Satsang Kaur <satsang wrote: > Dear Michelle, > > > what I want to ask is this--after I feel > > the pressure leave area behind the eyes, > > I feel flowing out of the top of my head and if > I don't hold my head > still > > it(my head will begin to move in slow continuous > circles as if > > there is some type of energy field around the top > of my head going in > > circles causing my head to turn in circles because > of it. > > It doesn't hurt .....
