I just posted a letter to you and then read the letter you wrote to Kathy.

....I just want to know when you said she could be experiencing a sort

of Savikalpa Samadhi because of the experiencing of" being lauched

into a void where thought, sound and normal feeling sensations

are absent"---Does this mean that there are different levels or

intensities of this experience? I was always under the impression

that I would completely quit breathing and it would be a "sudden

occurance" not a sort of peaceful slipping into a state bathed in

warm light..(where thought etc fades away)..(which is what happens to me)

So, could I also be experiencing a sort of Savikalpa Samadhi?

Yes there are different levels. Savikalpa (where you are still aware of your

mind and personal identity) and nirvikalpa (the state of absolute

consciousness) are the two main categories, but within these as well there

are subtle degrees.

Yes indeed, this is what is happening to you and it is very good. Keep up.
