The contest of intellectual knowledge or the comparison of who has more experience when it comes to communion with God seems to me to be completely opposed to the subject matter. Everyone is equal and unique and we have nothing to prove to each other, and nothing to defend. We are the truth at any moment. Black or white, good or bad, versed in scripture or not... God is with us always and it is simple but so hard to see. When a person thinks of themselves in terms of being more "advanced" they are thinking in terms of "time and space."
