Guest guest
Sat Nam, I have the following questions: 1) Does anyone have any experience they would relate practicing the Drib Dristhi(sp?) Kriya? 2)What is an effective kriya for cultivating "sun" energy, i.e., stimulating, warmth, active, extroverted energy -- the "opposite" of (1). Well, at least, IMHO. Thanks in advance, Gurujiwan Singh. _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

There are two excellent kriyas for this purpose: "Sun Energy", in Transitions to a Heart-Centered World, and "Surya Kriya", which can be found in Sadhana Guidelines. Also, long deep breathing through the right nostril, or even breath of fire through the right nostril, are excellent for this. Guest guest
Greetings! > > > I have the following questions: > > > > 1) Does anyone have any experience they would relate practicing the > >Drib Dristhi(sp?) Kriya? > > I'm not familiar with that kriya - where might it be found? I found it yesterday. It is in Ravi Singh's book, _KY for Strength, Success, and Spirit_, page 126, titled, "Meditation for Prophetic Insight & Power of the Word", also known as, "Drib Dristi Lochina Karma Kriya". It has extensive comments on how far out and potent it is and says that it can be mastered in one or several sittings if one really applies themselves. It is done by sitting in a comfortable meditation posture. The top teeth are firmly locked over the bottom teeth with the underside of the tounge pressing against the top of the mouth. The eyes are 1/10th open looking towards the tip of the nose. Neck lock is applied. As you look down mentally project, "Sa-Ta-Na-Ma" continuously out of the Third Eye at a moderate pace. As you are looking toward the tip of the nose concentrate up, feeling a pressure at the Third Eye Point. Do if for atleast 15 minutes, ideally 30 minutes or more. It says for the full experience to do it for 90 minutes. The comments also mention that it is most powerful when practiced on the eve of a full moon because the glands are in a state of readiness to secrete and balance you. Well, I may as well type the rest of it that I've left out which are the traditional claims, being: "You will be able to heal someone just by looking at them. You will have the Power of the Word, the ability to speak powerfully, poetically, and penetratingly, to express the Truth in any given situation; you will be able to project your magnetic influence anywhere, and know the outcome of any sequence of events you initiate." So, It seems that Gurujiwan had a good question in asking what people's actual experiences may be with it. I remember when I did it the first time about five years ago, I had a voice in my head tell me the exact time my then boyfriend (now husband) would be home. It wasn't vital information by any means, but was a message to me when he did arrive exactly at that time that the meditation had worked. I have since used it in class as a sixth chakra meditation. I hope those on the list agree with that since it does have a lot of fifth chakra qualities also, but it seems to fit to me, especially since we have just worked with the fifth chakra the week before. Anyway, my experience is that I feel it is very potent when I practice it and there is a lot of potential. The only time recently I've done it was yesterday and I had a lot of distraction from my one year old daughter who was trying to breastfeed while I was feeling that I didn't really want to do that at that time. So, we were going back and forth with that. I did feel quite a pressure at my third eye and felt that I could have gotten pretty quiet and far seeing inside without the distraction (maybe that is just wishful thinking! But I do think there was some truth in it). Love Always, littlebird Leslie AKA Guru Chiter Kaur
