Everyone is different. If this is the effect for you, don't do them before

you go to bed. Try the one given in the KYTraining lesson on Sleepytime

Meditation. See if this one makes you sleepy.

I have noticed that a lot of meditations are too stimulating for me to do before

bed also. I often advise people to experiment. Sometimes kirtan

kriya is a better version to do before bed. Sometimes your person adjusts and

you are able to sleep after any meditation. But it seems to be a

personal thing. Sometimes I do an evening meditation a while before bed and that

works. Some constitutions have a very easily stimulated nervous

system it seems. I used to do shabd kriya before bed and it helped me a sleep a

lot. Currently I find Ek Ong Kar Sat Nam Siri Wahe Guru (long

chant) with concentration at the third eye point and emphasis on the sound

current really good to do before bed. It calms my mind and makes it

easy to sleep and seems to balance everything.

Keep up and you'll find what works for you.
