Guest guest
Hi to All The message below was sent out by a virus called SirCam - a brand new one that has only been discovered in the course of the last day or so. Fortunately there is no danger to list members, as the virus-carrying attachment was automatically removed by before the message was sent on the list. If anyone receives this message personally - it can be either in English or Spanish you should delete it immediately, and notify the source that they have this infection. In English it could have one of the following messages: "I send you this file in order to have your advice." Or... "I hope you can help me with this file that I send." Or... "I hope you like the file that I send you." It also carries the following attachments: copy of lab6.doc.pif aww_36.zip.lnk or copy of lab6.doc aww_36.zip depending on your file settings. If you open either attachment you will be infected. It seems that this is more of a nuisance than anything else. It is not known to carry a dangerous payload, but just copies itself to all the addresses in your book. If you have any queries about this virus, then contact your anti-virus software provider and not this mailing list. As always, if you receive any virus alerts from elsewhere, do not send them to the list. If you feel they may be authentic then you can forward them to kundaliniyoga-owner Sat Nam!
