Guest guest
Greetings, Just recently, I began practicing Kundalini Yoga. I have found great joy and a feeling that I have come home. I cannot put it into words, except to say that I am eternally grateful. Thank You. I have one question right now. I have begun to become conscious of activating my lower three chakra centers, and within this I have found that it does not feel natural to me to breathe from the diaphragm. I realize this is tied in with the second chakra, and power issues. Most probably, it is tied in with acknowledging my power as a woman. While I am beginning to work through this conditioning, I am finding that I have pains in my heart area, while doing this. I believe that I am in excellent physical health, so I don't believe or feel it's a heart problem. Is it because these sets are conducive to opening up my heart chakra further, and this is the reason for the congestion? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to alleviate this feeling, and stimulate the natural flow of breath? Sat Nam, Nodin
Guest guest
Hi Samantha, This experience you describe sounds like the state of transcending....a time where our bodies are so rested that the oxygen demand has decreased thus causing a natural slowly of the oxygen need or intake , which results in periods of shallow breathing. I believe this is a very restful state and very beneficial to our physical bodies. Continued meditation, Respectfully, Sat Nam Anne --- Samantha <star44 wrote: > Sat Nam Priya, > > You mention that when you meditate you get so > absorbed that you > forget to breathe. Guest guest
Hi Anne, This state is so deep. I once had a dream where I was underwater and I could breathe without difficulty. What an experience. Thank you for your input. I love the state of transcending, everything is so at-one. Blessing to you, Samantha
