Guest guest
Thank you for this wonderful quote. Yogi Bhajan knows Americans very well I think. But I have a question about morning sadhana: what is it, necessarily? I have been waking earlier and earlier, doing yoga right out of bed, and the effects are tremendous throughout the whole day. I even have a 62-minute meditation tape for morning sadhana. But I'm not so sure I know what is involved properly in sadhana. I would be grateful for some advice - how to do this at home, etc. sat nam, -thomas - "Gururattan K.Khalsa" <rattanak <KYtraining> Friday, July 20, 2001 4:27 PM [KYtraining] Yogi Bhajan Quote #2 > Dear Friends, > > I have had several requests to send out quotes from Yogi Bhajan more frequently. One student is sending me his favorite quotes. If anyone else would like to send me quotes from Yogi Bhajan, I will send them to the list. Please send them to me OFF LIST to my personal email address. > > Sat Nam, > > Gururattan Kaur > > SADHANA (morning spiritual practice) > > "..............We do sadhana selfishly. We don't do sadhana to please God. Take it out of your mind. I have never done sadhana with an absolute feeling that I'll please God, or I'll have good luck or my tomorrow will be fine. I have absolutely no understanding. Zero percent. I do sadhana so that when > I'll be put on the fry pan, I'll just cry a little less than anybody else. That's all. I'll have maybe ten percent more chance of self control than another person. Sadhana has nothing to do with God the Almighty and everything else. Sadhana is: "I take bath because I don't want to stink. I do sadhana, because I don't want to go out of control." When I have to > change my... what you call it? Gears?... If I have done sadhana, I can change them whole day.
