Guest guest
Sat Nam There is a lot of reference in KY to focusing on the third eye. As as example we could consider the tuning in mantra. What is the best way to establish this focus on the third eye? Initially I tried to focus mentally, but I found that my mind soon moves off the focus as I get involved more with the physical component (mantra/breathing etc). Later I tried to bring my eyebrows together to touch each other thereby creating a dip in the third eye. This was physical and retained my attention for a longer span. However again I am unable to retain it for a long time. Recently I encountered the fact that focusing at the tip of the nose is also physical way to establish focus on the third eye. Would this be the best approach? Are there other ways? How can I develop this technique? Sat Nam Gowri
Guest guest
>From my conversations with Gurucharan Singh it is very valid to focus at the tip of the nose particularly if your mind tends to wander. He also said that if your emotions (I hope I am remembering correctly) are getting the best of you that you can focus at your chin.
