I havent tried but I avoid acidic particles and lemon joice with hotwater wouldnt it cause acidity.? Even I wish to get up early around 5 AM and perform Sandhyvandanam regularly, but unable to getup so the routine gets disturbed. Help me if you can by suggesting the way to getup early anand - Augie kundaliniyoga Sunday, July 29, 2001 4:25 PM Re: Is Waking Up Hard To Do I have been drinking hot water with freshly squeezed lemons in the morning for years. Sometimes I add a dash of cayenne pepper to really get the juices flowing! Additionally, I have been rising in the morning at 4:00 for that same amount of time. So much can be done when up at this hour. I believe that the daytime is for living; the nighttime is for resting. Guest guest

I don't entirely understand the mechanism but certain acidic substances become alkaline in the body. Lemon juice is one of those. The bigger issues around ph come from ingesting meat, dairy, most grains, fried foods and bad food combining. Even not understanding the mechananism I figure that a Tablespoon is a small amount. Guest guest
Sat Nam Anand K Iyengar >From what I understand, when lemon is ingested into the body, it becomes alkaline. So no need to worry about the acidity.
