Guest guest
Hi Priya, Vanakam, I'm V.Maniam (Malaysian) and glad to have found somebody in this group who is practising Paranjyothi Mahan's KY meditation. I got my initiation last year(May2000)from a local KY teacher. I have not yet had any experience or connection as claimed by some of the members of KY groups but there are some changes in me physically and mentally. I tend to talk less and my concentration power had improved to some extend. By the way, Priya, what about you....... Guest guest
Nanakkam Mr.Maniam, Iam really glad too ,to have found a follower of Paranjyothi Mahan's of KY meditation.I learnt Ky only two weeks back in MAdurai (South India) from an elderly Guru(95 yrs old).He has taught me Eru padi(First stage) and irangu padi(Second stage) only.He has not yet taught me Suddhi 'cause I developed some symptoms from the eru padi , like nausea ,occasional vomitting, loss of appetite etc. I felt as if I was pregnant ,4 months. But if I bring the shakthi down to Muladhara all these side effects vanish and I feel normal. He has asked me to come after these symptoms have subsided totally.I think these side effects are only due to the cleansing of the body systoms. What do you think?Have you heard of anything like these? BTW ,Do you know any good books for KY? Thanks, Priya. --- "Maniam v." <vmaniam wrote: > > Hi Priya, > > Vanakam, > > I'm V.Maniam (Malaysian) and glad to have found > somebody in this group who > is practising Paranjyothi Mahan's KY meditation. > I got my initiation last year(May2000)from a local > KY teacher. > I have not yet had any experience or connection as > claimed by some of the > members of KY groups but there are some changes in > me physically and > mentally. Guest guest
This form of KY meditation originates from South India. It consists of only tree steps: Step 1 : Concentrating on the Agna/Ajna,to arouse the K,from Muladhara. Step 2 : If the symptoms of the aroused K is unbearable, then bringing the K back again to Muladhara,by concentrating on the lower back. Step 3 : Concentrating on the Dhuriya. By these three steps ,Our Guru Paranjyothi Mahan has found that K can be easily aroused and controlled. Priya. --- mark terrell <mark.terrell wrote: > I've never heard of this style of yoga. Guest guest
Dear Priya, The only thing I can say, from my point of view, is that Yogi Bhajan's KY systematically strengthen the nervous system and balances the endrocrine system so that the K energy can be maintained in the body once it rises. Hope this helps. jasonkumar
hie everyone..... im a disciple for the lineage of paranjothi mahan n im frm malaysia. i just wanted to correct few things here. paranjothi mahan was born as a muslim but later he renounces the religion after he got his initiation, he attained enlightenment on the 1938 not 1930 as mentioned. he was frm madras, went to burma for business in his early age. he founded universal peace sanctuary n not one mentioned here. he created and found new ways of raising de kundalini from his own experiences n simplified it to 3 steps. after this stages, he also gave two more initiations for higher level. he was always self proclaimed himself as an atheist with explanation, which has made him a different kind of sage the world has ever came before. he was stern in his word and strict with his teachings. mail me at jasonramakrishnan@ for more info.
