Guest guest
> What I'd like to know is whether the 10 oz. have to be taken at bed time only? I started this program about 4 days ago and have to get up in the night to go to the bathroom. Bummer. I suppose my body will adjust, I hope. Or, can I take this in the AM instead? I figure cleansing is cleansing and it shouldn't matter when I take it, just so's I do. Also, about how long before improved energy kicks in? I don't eat any meat whatsoever and not much on the sweets either. Mostly fruit and carbs. Will someone please advise? Thank you. Guest guest
I take it first thing in the AM. I found that within a few weeks I was more energetic. You, however, might want to be sure that you get enough protein as well. I, too, don't eat meat, but I substitute that with good vegetarian protein sources such as soy, beans and seitan. A lack of protein could also drain your energy. Sat Nam, Myra
Guest guest
If your energy is low and drinking this hot lemon water improves things for you then you know that it's your liver chi that is wanting. I immediately noticed the difference the next morning and told me that my liver needed work. As far as having to wake up to wee wee, try drinking less and maybe give yourself a half hour or so before sleeping. Maybe you'll be able to relieve yourself before bedtime. Regardless, I imagine that there will be benefits if you do it before meals but the liver meridian is most active in the middle of the night (3 - 5am?), if I remember correctly. Can someone verify?
