Guest guest
Dear friends: > you all. (Come to think of which - where is Sadhant? I miss your >wise posts.) You are very kind, Satsang, but certainly one reason I haven't answered many messages lately is that you have been very quick and generous with your wise counsel, and I have enjoyed reading your answers - and, indeed, the answers from all the wise practitioners on our list. The other reason, however, is one that our esteemed fellow list members may find inspirational. Concerned about financial matters, and also wanting to find (or create) work related to the practice of yoga - or other things that are helpful to others, rather than just my bank account, I began to work seriously on meditations for prosperity (shortly after Solstice). Primarily I've been doing either Subagh Kriya or the first portion of Subagh, which can be found at: http://www.dasvandh.org/ It is #5 of the meditations there. I've also been doing 31 minutes of Sodarshan for 40 days, and a teacher friend of mine mentioned that this is also considered a prosperity meditation, which I hadn't known. A few weeks ago, I received a call from the owners of the Yoga Center where I teach most of my classes, and, to make a short story shorter, I was offered (and accepted) the position of Director of the Center. Trying to figure out all the various aspects of this job, and picking up where the last director left off, has been quite a challenge, and quite time-consuming, but most worthwhile in many ways. I hope to have more time to attend to the list when I get things under more control. I do want to thank everyone for being so willing to share their personal experiences and knowledge of this yoga with everyone else. It is an honor to be part of such a wonderful group. And I wanted to pass on a (related) story that I heard at Solstice about doing prosperity meditations. A fellow came to the teacher who was relating this to ask what the matter might be. He was very well educated (a Ph.D, I believe) and was doing his prosperity meditations every day, and a perfect sadhana as well, but only had a $7/hour job and couldn't make ends meet for his family. The teacher asked him what his goal was for the prosperity he was seeking, and the man was stumped. He didn't realize he needed a goal, but thought that just doing the meditation was enough. Since then, things have turned around completely for him, he has a job that pays well, that he likes and feels good about. Food for thought... Love & blessings to all, Sadhant
Guest guest
Sat Nam, I've been wondering where you have been just this evening. Glad to know you are still alive. It was great to meet you at Solstice. I too did not realize that you need at goal for the prosperity meditation. Yogi Bhajan had given an abundance and prosperity meditation at Ladies Camp, not saying anything about a goal, just saying concentrate. I have a few days left, and will not incorporate a goal. Thanks. Blessings, Samantha (Ardas) - "Sadhant Singh" <kundaliniyoga <Kundaliniyoga> Thursday, August 02, 2001 9:11 PM I'm still alive! > Dear friends: > > > you all. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Congratulations on your new position! I do the abundance meditation on page 146 in Transitions To A Heart Centered World and I have about 5 goals that I use. Is that ok? Guest guest
Dear Amanda, I do the abundance meditation on page 146 in Transitions To A Heart Centered World and I have about 5 goals that I use. Is that ok? Yes and you might like to consolidate them as a feeling that incorporates all of them so that you align your emotional body with your mental body. We manifest through our emotional body, not our mental body. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Yes, yes and more yes. This is the mistake that so many people make with prosperity meditations. The purpose of the meditation is to remove psychic blocks and energize your magnetic field so you can attract. However, your soul also has an intention around which that magnetic field is energized. Without it there is no movement. Seva Simran Sadhant Singh wrote: > Dear friends: > > > you all. (Come to think of which - where is Sadhant?
