Sat nam,

 

I am practicing kundalini yoga(kriya for the instinctual self, in sexuality and

spirituality) every day.

 

I feel an acute pain in between my chest every time i do yoga. This pain

aggravates when i inhale during long deep breathing during yoga.

 

Is it normal?

i am not sure about normal, but I have had several students who have felt

the same when they first did exercises involving the heart chakra. It

subsided soon after and they felt their heart warming up.

Have you ever had this pain before?

 

One thing I can suggest is to sing/chant after your layout. This will more fully

integrate your experience and get you more in touch with your

subtlety. Project and feel yourself at the same time. Have that relationship

with yourself. Use any heart centered chant and enunciate the

syllables....... move your jaw. Let the emotions flow.
