Guest guest
There are some good face sets in _Transitions to a Heart Centered World_ (I'm thinking of the negativity sets), and specific eye exercises in _Relax and Renew_, both by Gururattan Kaur. I have studied natural eye sight improvement (I've worn glasses since I was about six), and have found that it is possible and I've had some success thus far myself. Anyway, I'm writing to comment on your observations of your eyes when trying to focus on one point with your eyes open. According to my understanding that would be staring, which is an unnatural state for the eyes and conducive to poor eyesight. The healthy eye is ever moving, if it looks at one point, it vibrates around it. When practicing this consciously I feel that this movement brings more energy into the eye and mine actually start to burn as my eyesight improves. The other aspect of not being able to focus on one point, (or vibrate closely about it as the case may be), would be an inability to focus. The mind is wandering with the eye. I am not sure how all the physical eye stuff relates to gazing at the third eye. I know that my main problem in seeing is that my gaze from each eye crosses before it reaches the point I am trying to see that is at all far away. So, it is like being a bit crosseyed. I am pretty comfortable gazing at my third eye, though. So, good luck in discovering your third eye! I feel this greater energy come into my eyes when I practice moving them smoothly around objects and breathing deeping and using my whole face to see. I "edge" around objects by tracing their outlines with my eyes. "Palming" is another major technique, which is done by closing the eyes and placing your palms over them and seeing black. It is said that most people don't see perfect black and if they did their eyesight would be perfect. I can't say I know about that. It is great if you happen to be attuned to reiki, which really helps with the palming. I'm not sure about the third eye gazing. When I look at my third eye I just fix my gaze there. Perhaps it is different when your eyes are closed. But still, in what I have read about tratakam exercises (gazing), like gazing at a candle flame, they do say to stare at it and not blink. This is confusing to me in light of my eye studies and I have yet to work a clear understanding out. > sat nam > kristin > Sat Narayan Wahe Guru! littlebird Leslie AKA Guru Chiter Kaur
