Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am interested in tips on how to watch the time. I have been practicing exercises for a specific number of minutes. It takes away from my focus to count or open my eyes to peek at the clock. Also, sometimes for practicality, I have to be sure to conclude my set by a certain time...i.e. in time to get ready for work. Thank you, Heidi
Guest guest
Sat Nam Heidi, I like to use a running watch with a timer function. I usually time my asansas for two minutes with a two minute rest in between. Every two minutes the watch in timer functions beeps letting me know the 2 minuites is up. You can set the timer functions for any length of time you want within a 60 minute period, if you go over 60 minutes they have an alarm function. Also, most watches beep at the beginning of every hour. Hope this is helpful. Bhakti and Peace Larry - Heidi B. Guest guest
you can get an inexpensive kitchen timer that will "beep" when time is up. (I have a battery operated digital one--about $12) this one has a clock function as well, so you can check the time for work. sukhmani - mgb Kundaliniyoga Saturday, August 11, 2001 5:38 PM Re: Timing *S hi Heidi, i started using a timer instead. Guest guest
Hi Heidi, Whenever I do my sadhana, I always use a timer. That way I do not have to watch a clock. Also knowing the length of time you need to do your practice helps. That way you can get up earlier giving yourself enough time. What a great way to start the day. Sat Nam, Samantha - "Heidi B.
