Guest guest Posted August 19, 2001 Report Share Posted August 19, 2001 Dear All, Several people have asked for an exercise for anger. The one given by Satsung is great. Sit in easy pose. Make your hands into fists, and then extend the arms out straight alternately in a punching motion, inhaling as the arms pass each other and exhaling as each arm reaches its full extension. The breath > will become breath of fire. Continue for 2 min. I like doing it standing with running in place. You might get more angry at first. When I first did this exercise as a part of a set in my morning sadhana, I got very angry. Everyday it was a new anger at someone or something. Then one day I realized I was angry at myself and then the anger subsided. We get very interesting reactions. Just notice them and get doing the exercises. Our goal is to be free and happy.
