Guest guest
Circulating the energy when it would have been real easily to ejaculate creates an incredible sense of well-being, sensitivity and strength. It is what we are working with as Kundalini Yogis and if a person hasn't quite figured out what all the excitement is about (even after years of practice) then they need to "play" with this aspect more directly. A couple has to agree that ejaculation is not the goal and be able to at least delay it so that the energy can fully nourish both people. Both need to be erotically evolved enough to see that. And yes, oh God, yes a man can be pretty well charged and full of desire all the time when he contains his seed. (I'm 44). Chanting and yoga are survival tools at such times but the juice is well worth it. Many pains and tightnesses left my body, my joints began to loosen and an old sinus problem cleared up. An additional help would be to see a good homeopath and get a constitutional treatment. It is just something to facilitate one's growth, evolution and the general process of letting go. I hope the folks who started this very rich discussion are getting something out of this. I've lost track. Marvin Gaye had it right with his "Sexual Healing". Listen to his words. BTW, if you listen very closely to very last line of that song (radio stations always fade it out) he says "please don't procrastinate, it's not good to masturbate" God Bless Marvin Gaye. He was a sensualist who claimed divine guidance. (eg. Motown initially didn't want to release "What's Going On", thinking that's folks didn't really want to listen to music that wrestled with issues around the Vietnam War and the environment and he was ready to walk but Motown came around....thank goodness!) In this way, I experience orgasms very similar to that of a woman, which leave me feeling sexually charged and physically energized, no matter how many times a day. I still occasionally ejaculate, maybe a few times a month (I am 48 yrs.old). Sometimes they leave me feeling drained and other times very blissful, it just depends on how well the energy gets circulated. Also I might mention, one drawback to all this is that the desire is always there and very strong, and can be overpowering if the yoga and meditation practice is not strong and consistant. > As to the book Guru Rattana Kaur was refering to, I think it was " The Tao of Love and Sex" by Jolan Chang. I purchased a few weeks ago from Amazon and it really shows the integration of Kundalini Yoga and the Taoist techniques. > John > > > > > "OUR DESTINY IS TO BE HAPPY" > - Yogi Bhajan > > You can UNSUBSCRIBE from this list at the Groups Member Center (My Groups), or send mail to > Kundaliniyoga > NO UNSUBSCRIBE REQUESTS TO THE LIST PLEASE! > WEB SITE: kundalini yoga > > KUNDALINI YOGA ON-LINE TRAINING. Guest guest
I think a main ingredient in sacred sex is who you are with. There has been no mention in this thread about being in love with your partner, just techniques for directing the energy. If a couple can get out of their heads together and just be in love and movement, sacred/ beneficial type sex will happen automatically, with no planned mul bhandas or anything if you are the right combination. This has been my experience. I've felt the energy moving so powerfully from the base of my spine up and down, that I didn't feel like I was in any control of it, and I felt like God was looking on. Our bodies moved as one and our souls danced. In my husband's kundalini yoga teacher training course the first instruction he received about sex was that it should be in a monogomous relationship, and to be celibate otherwise. I think that although basic, it is certainly worth mentioning. We can talk scientifically about these things, like jnana in sanskrit, but all one really needs is love. When one is fully absorbed in love jnana is there effortlessly. Guest guest
Granted being in love does make for sacred sex and it is beautiful. But, after two people have been married for many years and gone through the worst and best with a partner, sex can become something other than desirerous. Therefore, techniques are beneficial to be developed. Young love, such as you have, coupled with a mate that shares your spiritual growth, and the knowledge of energy and Kundalini yoga....you are very fortunate indeed. Enjoy!
