Guest guest
Both me and my girlfriend are interested in practicing tantra. We were advised that using the (birthcontrol)pill would block the flow of energy and that's it impossible to raise the Kundalini using contraceptives. Could anyone comment on this? The teacher who recommended this (not a KY teacher BTW), had been practicing tantra for over 5 years with her husband without any problem, but I really want to be sure (not ready to be a daddy yet . I know there's also a KY meditation that helps to regulate period/energy while taking the pill. Would this help? Guest guest
Using a condom certainly insulates against and blocks the flow of energy. Whatever effect birth control has is going to be real subtle or psychological. I can imagine anytime a couple come together with any fear/need whatsoever it keeps them from fully giving of their being on all levels. Should be like diving into a stream and letting it carry you out to the ocean. Sat Nam, Dharam Henno van Arkel wrote: > Both me and my girlfriend are interested in practicing tantra. Guest guest
Dear Henno, > Both me and my girlfriend are interested in practicing tantra. We were advised that using the (birthcontrol)pill would block the flow of energy and that's it impossible to raise the Kundalini using contraceptives. Birthcontrol pills definitely effect a woman's energy. Many women feel more alive and present without them. However, the later statement (impossible) is a bit categoric. Ky can help stimulate these energies. Chair or table pose can make a women's orgasims very deep. A women must learn to totally relax. Whereas a man must learn to channel his energy. 3 things prevent a women from total relaxation (1) fear of getting pregnant, (2) fear her partner will come before her and she will be left hanging, (3) fear he will leave. I suggest practicing and enjoy the adventure and then later on when you are both more sure of your enegies then consider getting off the pill. The stress of (1) could off set the ability to explore the process together lovingly and stress free. > > I know there's also a KY meditation that helps to regulate period/energy while taking the pill. Guest guest
I just talked to a friend who has been taking anti-depressants to counteract the effect of birth control pills for 4 years! She is a lot better since she has been doing KY for 2 years. She is slowly giving up both pills. Guest guest
I didn't see this in the mail today, so I will send it again. Maybe I got put on moderated status for leaving the trailers on my messages. :+) Dear Henno, > Both me and my girlfriend are interested in practicing tantra.
