Does KY have a special version of the Sun Salute? I have a few books

and videos on KY, and they all contain parts of the salute, but never

strung together as a whole. I love the sequence (learned from a Raja-

Yoga book) and use it as a warm up for everything.

I use the Breath of Fire in certain postures in the Sun Salute and

find it to be much more effective.

I also recently purchased a DVD called Power Yoga with Rodney Yee.

It is completely based on the Salute. Power Yoga reminds me of KY in

that there are really no static postures, but instead has lots of

movement.

I believe the Sadhana Guidelines has one. I also think there was a version

of it in the newsletter.

Sat Nam,

Sun Salutation is not in Sadhana guidelines. It is in Relax and Renew. If

you want to practice it I suggest getting instruction. Most hatha teachers

have this one down.

It is good to be corrected and do it very accurately.

Just as an aside, it was taught at the Posture's Course in Espanola.

Sat Nam!

This kriya taught by Guruprem (teacher of Posture´s Course) and is an

Iyengar Yoga version of Sun Salutation.

A friend of mine did it as a 40 days set along with 31 minutes of Long Ek

Ong Kar´s, great for winter depression :)

Blessings,

Henno
