Guest guest
Sat Nam everyone, I am not new to the group, just new at posting.(Kind of shy about writing anything.) I am grateful for all the advise that is given here and hope that someone can help me with this.(I am 29 years old and live in south Georgia.) For several nights in a row I have had to get up at 5:00 am because I am in tremendous pain. My left arm and hand all the way up to my shoulder will seem asleep and painfully throbbing real fast. I have to get up and message and shake my arm because it is unbearable! It lasts 20 or 30 minutes. At first I thought I had slept on it wrong, but after it has repeated over and over, I feel like it may be more than that. It doesn't happen during the day or any other time at night so far other than 5:00 am.(?) Does anyone else experience this? Can anyone tell me what it is about? Thanks for your time. Guest guest
Dear Miesha, Try getting up at 4:45 and see what happens. This could be a message to get up early. It is worth a try. Please let us know. This seems like a message. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Hi Miesha , I saw your letter and just had to respond. coming from an acupuncture background, your body is experiencing a deficiency/stagnation of some sort. don't really know what kind without knowing specifics from you. Yes, I am familiar with it as I had the same trouble where both my arms would fall asleep in pain and wake me up at the wee hours of the morning numness, and that. the Qi is stuck in certain places in your body but without knowing anything about you I can't elabourate anymore than this. If you go to an accupncturist they can help you in a few sessions. it is important that you do get help with it as it can lead to other serious problems. have you had acupuncture before? you can go to one of the schools and get a discount. the students have to discuss all cases with the senior doctors there so you will get good care.let me know how you do should you decide to pursue it and if you have any questions I would be more than happy to help.also, if you smoke or don't get much exersise, or are carrying more weight than your body is used to any or all of these can lead to this 'stuck qi' situation.believe me, I know about this one. also, at the time do you get dizzy, lightheaded or short of breath. any of these? peace, Melanie On Thu, 06 September 2001, MieshaLarkins wrote: > Sat Nam everyone, > I am not new to the group, just new at posting.(Kind of shy about writing > anything.) Guest guest
Sat Nam Miesha, How do you sleep? Are you sleeping on your stomach? You may want to see a chiropractor. It would appear that there is pressure being placed on one of the nerves that is causing your arm to go to sleep.
