Guest guest
Hi everyone, your story thomas really touched me. you see when I was in my preteens I did hatha yoga, tai chi, and lots of spiritual studies. I felt exuberant although life was not pretty so to say. It was enough to drive anyone over the edge and yet I was able to handle it somehow. As an adult, life became very difficult up until not too long ago. we are talking 22 adult years of hard struggle. I allways asked my God why? My life still is not perfect but I can now physicaly do what I feel my path is in life and actually create my own suroundings unlike ever before. Hard blows still hit me smack in the face when I don't do what I am suppost to. It is a way of keeping you in line I guess. anyway, I am thankful for everyday given as I feel blessed in knowing that I went through these awful times having learned something from them. When I do KY or a simular discipline, I have to learn to keep my emotions in tact to keep from jumping into the air with love and joy. What gets me now is I wonder, and this is for anyone that can help, why do we have to really go physicaly through our Karma as it bubbles to the surface? can't we catch it, that of what is not physical before it becomes physical and dissolve it and keep it from being re-absorbed back into our beings? alot of my 'junk' so to say is surfacing as emotions and thoughts that were once repressed. I visualise it coming to the surface and let the visualised violet flame burn it up. I also afirm it to be no more a part of me. Is there any other exersise that any of you know of that would help to dissolve this karma that surfaces before it manifests in the physical. Please keepin mind I am unfamiliar with KY terminology. Guest guest
Hi Melanie, Last year I shared a story with the list (to be found in the archives I'm sure ) of how a kundalini meditation helped me clear some very negative heavy duty stuff fron my subconscious using Kirtan Kryia for 120 days for 31 mins a day. I believe the directions are on the website, they are also to be found in any good KY book. It was an amazing experience for me and I felt like a different person after it was over. The trick is to release whatever comes up during this meditation without judgement of any kind - if you start to judge things ( for good or bad) you become involved again and do not let them go, which is the whole purpose of the exercise. The depth of your intention to heal also plays a big part. Hope this helps, Love and blessings, Avtar K. Ps I'm still doing the meditation for 11 mins a day, and I'm amazed at the junk that comes up. It's like cleaning out a dirty house where you keep finding corners that you think you've overlooked ! I'll keep it up as long as it feels good. ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
