Guest guest
I'm doing a meditation chanting "Hummee Hum, Brahm Hum." The instructions for the the breath are as follows: "The breath will come automaticallyas your chant." However, I can chant the phrase comfortably six times per breath or really stretch it out one time per breath. So what is the proper way to chant. Should it be once per breat?. As many times as possible per breath? Or some happy median? And I appreciated Melanie's suggestion of accupuncture for my elderly father w/ energy problems, but there are none in the rural area he lives. Any further suggestions would be most appreciated. Guest guest
hi joe, in response to the question of decreased energy with your dad. typically as folks get older they tend to drink very little and in fact do not get the natural "thirst" as in the younger years. maybe finding a beverage that he enjoys (preferably water) he might feel better. also if he is inactive he is exhausted from not moving..........maybe five simple exercises a day would help.........any movement good luck anne --- Joe Estes <jestes1 wrote: > I'm doing a meditation chanting "Hummee Hum, Brahm > Hum." Guest guest
Dear Joe., > I'm doing a meditation chanting "Hummee Hum, Brahm Hum." The instructions for the the breath are as follows: "The breath will come automaticallyas your chant." This means just chant and let the breath take care of itself. Which ends up periodic breaths that come in automatically. Keep the rhythm of the mantra going without stopping it with the breath.
