Guest guest
Dear Friends, I just got this email from 3HO. Sat Nam. Today wherever we live in the world we have experienced a new level about the reality of the times. Fortunately, we have the tool of sadhana to keep us balanced in dealing with our inner and outer world. At this time as far as we know, everyone in our 3HO communities are safe. Members of our New York City and Washington D.C centers are remaining calm and waiting to see if there is anyway to serve the time. Yogi Bhajan suggests we do the following meditation at this time, as well as keeping those lost and their friends and families in our prayers. Prayer is the Power! Let us use our collective prayers for healing from this horrific tragedy. In the name of the Cosmos which prevails through everyBODY and the Holy Nam which holds the world. Humbly yours, 3HO International Headquarters This meditation was given by Yogi Bhajan in Espanola on September 10, 2001. He has specified that it is the best meditation for everyone to do now. He spoke about how important it was for us to feel God in our hearts. Posture: Easy Pose Eye focus: Eyes are closed Mudra: Clasp your own hands, right hand over left, with the top of the right hand facing up. Place them at the level of the heart or sternum. Mantra: Ang Sang Wahe Guru. Note: This means God or the vibration of infinity vibrates in every cell of my body. Music: Nirinjan Kaur's version was used in class and is to be used if available. If not available then chant without music. Note: use monotone with your own voice. Part 1 Chant along with the mantra, moving the navel point 4 times with each repetition of the mantra for 11 minutes. Then inhale and exhale Part 2 Maintain the posture, eye focus and mudra and listen to the mantra for 8 more minutes. If the tape is not available, listen to the sound of your internal chanting. To end the meditation: Inhale, exhale, inhale and stretch the arms and hands up as locked. Stretch the spine. Exhale and relax. Many blessings, Gururattan Kaur
