Life Nerve Stretch

After months of practice, I am able to bring my face to my knees in the

Life nerve stretch set. However I have been observing a pattern. After 4-5

days of successful practice I seem to pull a muscle/nerve on the back of my

right thigh. Thereafter for a few days I am unable to bring my face to the

knees owing to the pain. Also frogs hurts a lot then. I relax the life

nerve stretch a bit and ease on the frogs and thigh pull heals in a few

days. The cycle then repeats again (4-5 days of success, pull, ease and

healing). I seem to hurt the same thigh always. Is this related to me doing

something wrong in posture/angle etc. Or would the thigh eventually

strengthen enough to stretch well always.

 

I am specifically referring to the Life nerve stretch guidelines in the

Startup set described in the Sexuality and Sprituality manual.

We are not equally flexible every day of the week. There are many factors

which will affect flexibility. Sense of emotional calm, _what and when you

ate last_, humidity, orderliness/cheerfulness of pratice environment. One

actually couldn't name all the factors. What I've found: don't be

overeager on days when you are less flexible. Just accept it. Your

practice with regard to the essential dynamics will not be adversely

affected if you don't _totally_ complete a perfect posture each day. By

not overdoing, you avoid injury, control ego, and pave the way for a more

perfect execution of the posture next time.
