Guest guest
Hello, I am new in this group. I did not want to send any mails in the days that we all have concerns about the attact in NY city. Still the news that I hear here becomes so serious that I wanted to write you this mail. I am writing you from Istanbul / Turkey. I heard the news about NY city about 1hr after the event. It is a horrible event. In middle east we all know what harm terrorism can give and we all share terrror and misery of USA. Still, as written in all messages, I believe it is time that we use our common sense. We are hearing that USA Army is calling the Americans to the army. The rumors here is that USA will be bombing Iraq tonight - I hope it is not true. I want to ask you to meditate and pray also for peace in the world. It is a great loss and tragedy, but the death of more innocent people will not bring the loved ones back. With all my love, Ayca Gurelman. My spiritual background: I am 27 years old turkish girl. I started practicing Hatha Yoga at home in January 2000. After a few months, I started Raja Yoga Meditations with Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. Brahma Kumaris is an organisation that practices only meditation, and since I feel much more closer to the Patanjali's system, I decided to find a new school. By October 2000, I started Integral Yoga classes by Ersin Saran Anandawhich I still contiune. Also in January 2001, I built up a yoga site (non-profit) in Turkish language. It is the first site in its own right, and the visitors can find basic information about eight limbs of yoga. (I am not giving you the address due to the rules of this group. If anyone is interested, I may send him/her the address seperately) By August 2001, I got a special permission from Swami Krishnananda (the General Secretary of The Divine Life Society) to translate and publish his books in my site. Now, two of his books are translated, and I will be starting the third one soon. I heard kundalini yoga by the book of Gurmukh Khaur Kalsa, The eight talents of human. I verm much liked that book and wanted to join this group to have more information. My personal background: After graduating from university, I started working in the marketing dept of the Gillette Company. After three years, in august 2000, I decided to rest a while, therefore I quit (my recent position was Regional Product Manager- my region was Turkey domestic, balkan countries, Israel, Malta and Cyprus). Now, I am looking for a job, but because there is an economic crisis which began early this year, I couldn't find any. _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
Guest guest
Sat Nam Ayca, Rumors are rumors. The US is looking for Terrorist Groups and wants to put a stop to them for once and for all. I won't believe that we will kill innocent people. At this moment emotions are high. Especially anger. I pray to God that we will be civilized, I pray to God that those who are less spiritually evolved will not take out their anger on innocent people who look "suspicious". Let's all pray for God's will to prevail. I live about 70 miles from NYC and work one day a week in the City. I was not able to go in this week due to the events that have transpired. I would have been in NYC that day if I hadn't started a KY Class on Tuesday mornings. As it worked out the class was cancelled after 5 months and I never changed back to that day. Blessings to you and yours. Samantha - "Ayca Gurelman" <ayca1201 kundalini yoga Thursday, September 13, 2001 4:50 AM Hi > Hello, > I am new in this group. Guest guest
greetings roberto, you tell samantha to pay attention to what she is saying. well in turn, please pay attention to what you are saying. no one needs to continue to breed hate in thier minds and hearts and blame people or thier presidents for acts. all countries and people have thier faults. If I wanted to, I could come back and start talking about alot of so called crap of barberic ways other countries handle thingsand the list could go on and on but I refuse. please go withing yourself if you love God as we all must go within ourselves to stop this hate and anger that wells up within each of us. we must not let it consume us. Isn't this what KY is for? Peace for all, Sat Nam, Melanie On Fri, 14 September 2001, robertocagliero wrote: > Sat Nam Samantha, > > I think that you should perhaps meditate on the sentence "I won't believe > that we will kill innocent people" in your message. > Please consider that any war action is bound to kill innocent people. > Outside US many of us hope your electric chair-happy President will get > illumination from above before taking revenge. Guest guest
Sat nam Roberto, Thank you for your message. It isn't necessary for me to meditate on my statement. Yes, I do know in any war there are innocent people killed. I believe that our actions are going to be very direct. I feel that our "electric chair-happy President" is doing a great job. He is not out for revenge. He is out to stop terrorism! God Bless you and yours.
