This is not a KY issue but you can help to save an innocent life. Sikh

comunity in the world (specially in USA) is mistakenly attacked because use

a turban and long beard. We are being mistaken as muslims and in this moment

many people are looking for revenge no matter who you are, here is a sample

of a letter that was send to some news papers:

 

The Editor

xxxxx (name of the newspaper)

 

Dear Sir/Madam:

 

I would like to express my anguish at the devilish attacks on the civilian

American targets. Please accept my sympathy for the families of the victims.

 

I want to bring to your notice harrasment of Sikh men who are being mistaken

as Muslims. In Queens, New York, last night an elderly man was shot. The

shooter has been apprehended and in police custody. The Richmond Hill police

is calling a press conference today to address the safety of Sikh residents

of the area.

 

Sikhs wear turbans and are being mistaken as Muslims. As emotions are

running high in consequence to yesterday's attacks in New York and

Washington DC, Sikhs are being victimised.

 

I would appreciate if you could publish a request to your readers to keep

faith in the American government and its efforts to investigate the attacks

and bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice. In the meantime

it would be greatly appreciated if they are informed about Sikhs lest

innocent people get harassed, physically abused and fatally wounded.

BBC & CNN Irresponsibility Makes Sikhs Targets because spread the news of

the arrested Sikh and no explanation was given to the people, so many of

them think that this Sikh is souspicios.
