Guest guest
Sat nam to all, speaking of Compassion...i've been trying to energize my heart chakra, does anyone have any good meditations for this? All I really feel is my third eye, it never goes off and this week has been the strongest, do i move K down to my heart or upward to my crown? i'm doing both, thank you for your suggestions. love light peace, maria. Nick Masters <nmasters wrote: I know what you are speaking of. I have noticed that my grounding has gotten knock out of wack more than normal this week. My advice, maintain your grounding. Notice negativity for what it is and try to negate it. Also, realize that while others may not seems as spiritually evolved they do have the godpower within them. So, compassion is a keyword. I am reminded of a quote from Confusious when asked if there was one word to live ones life by what would that be. His answer, reciprocity. In other words, treat others as you would like to be treated, the golden rule. Guest guest
Dear Nichole, Wow! you've recieved some wonderful words of wisdom from everyone yesterday...I felt "lifted up" by the words expressed. I'll respond with my thoughts as well...trying not to repeat what has already been said though. Firstly, I know there is nothing worse then feeling stuck in a situation that you don't want to be in..but can't seem to see you're way out of it and then have people who seem not to be stuck, telling you how to get out of it! Ha ha! Like everyone has already expressed there is a process at work here and if you follow the steps it will eventually lead you out of that stuck state. The reason we know this is because we ourselves have crawled out of our own "dark pits" and now the information of how to do that, has become our "experience". And just because you know the "process" of how to move out of stuck states, doesn't mean we don't get stuck anymore, we do, it just means that we have tools on our belt now, that can be used to create forward movement in our lives, when we find ourselves stuck. I understand what it is that you are expressing around truly feeling one way, but then being expected to project something different...and how that, in it's self, feels like duality or denial. It probably feels that way because what you are describing is denial. Feeling one way..but acting another way. As someone already pointed out...all feelings are valid and need to be felt and experienced....recognize the difference between feeling or experiencing a feeling and fueling it with more thought. I always say to students...if you're not sure whether you are "experiencing" a feeling or "thinking" about a feeling (which would be fueling it), just notice...are there any words involved? When there are words involved, you are thinking, not feeling. (I am feeling sad today, this reminds me of when my boyfriend left me..you know, I'm still angry at him, who does he think he is? Leaving me!! he'll never have it so good again, you watch, he'll get his eventually etc. and the ball starts rolling..) this is an example of how the mind can take you on a run away from the present moment and fueling this thought form. But...in that moment when you have the thought or interpretation that you are feeling sad...stop and begin feeling how sad "feels" physically in your body and stay present with the sensations, allowing them, without fueling them....it will begin to transform in some way. This process is how you build a natural foundation for a projection of "I am happy" to grow out of. If for instance, you are in this moment miserable...first things first right...you need to begin with the process of feeling and allowing and in this way cleaning out your "store room" we call the subconscious mind. At this point don't even worry about your projection. If you have been healing for awhile...and still don't see the results in your enviroment that you would like...THEN examine whether your intentions are congruent with your inner experience. And the thought that comes to my mind is...If our inner program has changed, how is it that our outer program doesn't just naturally change as a result? Why do I have to change my projection consciously? This would be in keeping with what you expressed yesterday around the present moment and the intention needing to be the same in order for the intention to materialize? right?. The only answer that comes to me about this is that... some patterning is so ingrained and all encompassing that it just simply takes that extra conscious kick! to get it out of your system, once and for all. While other patterns that are a little less ingrained, when transformed, would naturally change your projection without you consciously having to think about it and do it. So to sum up...I would guess that the more complex the patterning the more consciousness is required to change it in all aspects of the healing process. During the detox of emotion/feeling stage "and" during the change of projection phase. I think I ran off on a tangent there...but my point earlier was...yes...you aren't going to be able to have a projection of "I am happy" in the beginning..but...allow yourself to be open to the possibilties.....of that occuring. My teacher gave us an exercise once and I'll share it with you now.. (If you know where your K27 points are rub them a few times as you say this affirmation, only a few times though). You say: Even though I am still experiencing feelings of______________ (fill in the blank with an emotion or if it's a behavior etc.) I completely and deeply love and accept myself. You want to know what my sentence sounded like in the beginning? Talk about being incongruent. I'd be rubbing my points and saying.."even though I still have feelings of self hatred, I deeply and completely love and accept myself!" ha ha! What can I say though! It worked!! Ha ha! This gets the energy moving, when it moves, things will begin to evolve. And italso recognizes "no, I may not be there yet, but I am open to the possibilities of it coming into fruition!" Guest guest
Nichole...I'm not sure what kind of book you'd find this info in..probably accupunture? I can try to give you directions: Place your index finger and thumb on your collar bones about an inch away from the breast bone on either side.....let your fingers slide down about an inch or so towards your navel from the colloar bones and massage abit..looking for a spot on either side of the breast bone that is a little tender. The instructions I was given was not to massage that area for long periods of time as overstimulation had some effect that I now can not remember what it was! At any rate I find just repeating the phrase without rubbing beneficial as well. Good luck, Sat Sangeet "nicholebaker67 <nicholebaker67" <nicholebaker67 wrote:"(If you know where your K27 points are rub them a few times as you > say this affirmation, only a few times though)." > I don't know my K27 points are, could you please provide references for this?
